Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Craft sum More! These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of our website, bookings for craft sessions, and purchases of products including physical kits, digital downloads, and gift vouchers. By engaging with our services or buying from us, you agree to these Terms.

1. General Information

  • We are based in Scotland and governed by Scottish law.
  • We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. The most recent version will always be available on this website.

2. Craft Sessions (Workshops and Private Bookings)

2.1. Types of Sessions

We offer:

  • Group Workshops – fixed-date sessions open to multiple participants.
  • Private One-to-One Sessions – personalised, one-on-one craft tuition booked by appointment.

2.2. Booking and Payment

  • Group workshops must be paid for in advance at the time of booking via our website.
  • Private one-to-one sessions can be booked online. Payment may be made online or in person at the start of the session.
  • We may require a deposit to confirm private bookings.

2.3. Consumer Rights

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you book online:

  • You are entitled to a 14-day cancellation period, unless:
  • The session takes place within the 14-day period, and
  • You explicitly agree to waive your cancellation right during checkout or confirmation.

2.4. Cancellations and Refunds

For Group Workshops:

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days in advance are eligible for a full refund or reschedule.
  • Cancellations within 7 days or no-shows are non-refundable, though you may transfer your place to someone else with prior notice.

For Private One-to-One Sessions:

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are eligible for a refund or reschedule.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance or no-shows are non-refundable but may be rebooked at our discretion.
  • If paying in person and you fail to attend, the session will be cancelled and full payment may still be required.

2.5. Late Arrivals and Missed Appointments

  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without notice, we reserve the right to shorten or cancel the session without refund.
  • We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, but cannot guarantee a full-length session.

2.6. Health, Safety and Conduct

  • Please follow all health and safety guidance during sessions.
  • Covered footwear is required where tools or equipment are in use.
  • Disruptive behaviour may result in removal without refund.

3. Gift Vouchers

  • Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless stated otherwise.
  • Non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Vouchers must be redeemed at the time of booking and cannot be applied retroactively.
  • If a session is unavailable during the voucher period due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. illness, closures), we may extend the validity at our discretion.

4. Craft Kits (Physical Products)

4.1. Product Information

  • We make every effort to accurately describe our kits. Due to the handmade nature of materials, slight variations in colour or content may occur.

4.2. Delivery

  • Orders are dispatched within 3 working days. Delivery times may vary by location.
  • Contact us if your kit does not arrive within the expected timeframe.

4.3. Returns and Refunds

  • If your kit is faulty or incomplete, notify us within 3 days for a replacement or refund.
  • Unused kits in original condition may be returned within 14 days. Return postage is your responsibility unless the kit is defective.

4.4. Safety Disclaimer

  • Please supervise children and use all materials as directed. We are not responsible for any injury, damage or loss caused by misuse of our kits.

5. Digital Downloads (Patterns)

5.1. Delivery

  • Patterns are delivered as digital PDF files via email or direct download link.
  • Ensure your email is correct at checkout.

5.2. Refund Policy

  • Digital products are non-refundable once download begins, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
  • You will be asked to confirm that you waive your cancellation rights when purchasing.

5.3. Intellectual Property

  • All patterns are original works and protected by copyright.
  • You may not copy, resell, distribute, or share the digital files.
  • You may sell items made from our patterns in small quantities with credit to Craft sum More as the designer.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage of personal belongings during workshops.
  • We are not liable for injury or loss resulting from the use of our kits or instructions, where guidance has not been followed.
