Kids Craft Kit: Learn to Lucet Braid

Lucet braiding has been around for over a thousand years. These braids were made by Vikings, Medieval and Renaissance Europeans, and even sailors and proper Victorian ladies.

This kids craft activity is suitable for ages 5 years and up, with a little help.

📋 This kids craft kit comes with a wooden Lucet fork, a random colour of pre-cut yarn, a plastic bead, and picture tutorial. You can re-use the braiding fork with other yarn from your stash. Other kids have used their braids as hair ties, as book marks, and some have used them as pull tabs on school bag zippers. See what uses your kids can come up with.
