Drop-in Crafting Sessions
What are Drop-in Crafting sessions?
These 1.5 hr sessions are for adults, where you bring your own projects and craft together with others in a relaxed and supportive environment. No pressure to attend every week (although we’d love to see you), you drop-in when you want or when you need support. We also provide some light refreshments to keep you fuelled for your session.
What if I want help with a specific project or technique?
Just give us a shout and let us know the issue. That way we can gather appropriate resources to assist you when you arrive.
I don’t know how to knit/crochet. Can you teach me?
Absolutely, it’s kind of what we do. If you want to learn and you’re unsure what to bring, contact us and we can sort you out. If you’re not sure you want to learn in a group setting, you can book a one-to-one session to build confidence before you join us for a drop-in session.
What happens if I struggle with the activity?
We want you to be successful in your crafting so we’ve got your back. Sometimes, you just need a little bit more time to get to grips with a technique. You can book a one-to-one session to support you along your craft journey a time to suit you.
Do I need to book a block of sessions?
Not at all. The beauty of these sessions is you get to decide when you want to attend. Got something else on, don’t worry just pop in next week. It’s a pay-as-you-go situation.
Do I need to book online every time?
It’s useful to book your first session online, so you can receive an email with all the details. The rest of the time you can simply turn up for a session. We do appreciate a heads up, just in case we need to buy more milk and cookies ;).
How do I pay if I don’t book online?
We accept cash or card, whichever is easiest for you.
When are these sessions?
- Monday Evenings: 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm (Summer - BST), 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm (Winter - GMT)
- Friday Mornings: 10:00 am – 11:30 am
